Auditions for The Princess Pages!

TrueVoice Studio is happy to announce auditions for our upcoming production of “The Princess Pages”


Auditioning for– [Ages are SUGGESTED only! Anyone is up for anything!]

Sarah – A Young Girl who wants to be a Princess [ ages 7-12] (very small singing, mostly acting)
Nancy- The Mother [ages 20+] Non-singing
FGM (Fairy God Mother) A Magical Kooky Wishgiver [ages 20+] minimal singing
The Witch- A mysterious ominous and perhaps slightly evil character [ages 16+]
The Magical Mirror- Reflective, suspective, sassy and classy! [age 11+] non singing

The Princesses [Ages 13-25] [Solo singers (strong vocal ability)]
Princess # 1 – Shoe issues.
Princess # 2 – Give a hoot! Don’t pollute
Princess # 3 – Yawn….
Princess #4 – So what if he’s hairy?
Princess #5 – Plenty of Fish in the Sea!
Princess #6 – Blow Dryer obsession.
Princess #7 – No worts for me!
Princess #8 - Its just a hump in the road
Princess #9 - Since when do carpets fly?
Princess#10 – Curtains Beware!

Muses [this will be cast from 5-10 people (with ATTITUDE and strong vocal ability!)]

A (VERY) Young Prince Charming- A Young, not quite ready Prince [Ages 7-12]
Aladdin - A young adventurous vagabond [ages 13-25]
Prince Charming – The Prince of Princes with amazing Hair and charisma[16+]

We are in GREAT NEED OF MANY, MANY Village Members, Evil Characters, Fun Folks etc. [ALL AGES!!!] Chorus ,solo roles etc. Everyone who wants a solo will get one! All skill levels and experience welcomed ļ

SYNOPSIS: This is a Story of a Young Girl who believes she is destined to be a Princess. An unexpected visitor with a magical offer gives Sarah the chance to live her dream by visiting the Princesses that came before her (if she isn’t stopped along the way). A collection of classic familiar songs and stories full of adventure and fun, The Princess Pages will make you laugh and discover your inner “Happy Ever After”. If you’re going to be Royal you’ve got to learn the rules.

When: Feb 10th 6-9pm
Feb 11th 6-9pm
Feb 12th 2-6pm

Bring: 30-60 sec. monologue
Song of your choice (Disney is welcomed!)
Accompaniment on CD or mp3 (not mandatory, acappella is fine)
Headshot and Resume are not required but welcomed


Rehearsals: to begin Sunday Feb 20th (first read through)
Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings (with some Monday rehearsals for Princesses and as needed) at First Universalist Church of Denver. PLEASE NOTE: We have many scheduled rehearsals which allows the cast to miss some and not be greatly affected. Of course show dates and tech week are vital.

Performances: Thursday May 19th – 22nd - 5 performances with option of another weekend.

Writing, Visual Art, Technical interests such as sound and lighting, building/set design, Costuming, Dance, Acting and Singing. Everyone has a part to play at True Voice Studios and it is our goal to cultivate a sense of accomplishment and pride for every participant.
In addition, we use our productions outreach events to give those in the community an opportunity to enjoy carefree, quality theatre productions.
